Cleaning Instructions:
Diaper Pail:
1 or 2 depending on convenience….preferably close to a toilet. In the bathroom works great.
1 to 2 scoops of Oxyclean (Costco). Fill 2/3 of pail with water.
Keep rubber gloves close.
Wet Diapers:
Put directly in pail. If wrap is wet, put in pail as well. If not, reuse.
Pooie Diapers:
Dump pooie in toilet then soak in pail. Whatever doesn’t fall off in toilet…no worries….it will soak off in pail.
Washing Instructions:
Wash every other day or as needed. I use regular laundry detergent in hot water. You can add ½ c. borax to every load to ensure freshness if you want. Put rubber gloves on and take pail/pails to washing machine. As washer is filling pull out each diaper and put in washer. Diaper should be mostly white prior to putting them in washer. If not….rub together in hot water from washer. If stain persists…. refill diaper pail for next cycle and soak problem diapers until next diaper washing.
If your not getting the results you want don't be afraid to soak Diapers in Oxyclean for 12-36 hrs.
TIP: I never use any bleach. Your diapers will last much longer. I have never needed it anyway.
Wraps:
Wash as above or…..if you are limited on wraps, rinse in hot water in sink. You can use a little Oxyclean if you want.
Drying instructions:
Do not dry wraps in dryer. Hang dry.
Dry all diapers on hot until dry.
Refill all Diaper Pails.
Have fun! Don’t make if harder than it sounds and enjoy saving all your money. You’ll get in a rhythm and it will get easier all the time.
